Young Academics launches STEAM workshops during Science Week

Children attending Young Academics centres will soon benefit from weekly science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) workshops with dedicated educators employed to deliver the program from Term Four.
Young Academics’ founder and Managing Director, James Kazzi announced the new program, sharing that the provider has appointed internal program educators to deliver S.T.E.A.M experiences.
“We are constantly seeking innovative ways to inspire and educate the children in our care, and these new workshops are another example,” he added.
Assistant Centre Manager Zoe Cleary and Early Childhood Teacher Aimee Mathai will travel between Young Academics’ 25-centre-strong network of early learning centres to run the S.T.E.A.M workshops, tailoring the activities and content for specific age groups, such as the nursery children and pre-school cohort – at no additional cost to families.
Programmed activities will include science experiments, coding, construction, painting, and geometry.
