OWNA acquires Juice Technologies: Strengthening choice and innovation in childcare software across Australia & New Zealand

OWNA, Australia’s leading all-in-one childcare management platform, today announced the acquisition of Juice Technologies, the parent company of Kidsoft, Kangarootime Australia, Smart Central & Infocare (NZ), marking a major milestone in the evolution of early learning technology across Australia and New Zealand.
This acquisition brings together some of the most trusted names in childcare technology under one roof, creating a stronger ecosystem that empowers providers with more choice, faster innovation, and continued stability.
Continuity First: No Changes for Customers
For customers across Juice Technologies and OWNA, it’s business as usual.
All platforms will continue to operate independently with the same teams, support channels, and service commitments in place. Existing contracts, pricing and day-to-day operations remain unchanged.
Customers can expect the same trusted experience, now supported by the strength and long-term investment of a larger group focused on growth and innovation across the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector.
A Shared Vision for the Future
OWNA and Juice Technologies share a core belief: technology should simplify, not complicate, the lives of early learning providers.
With this acquisition, more than 8,000 services across Australia and New Zealand will benefit from greater flexibility and collaboration among well-established childcare platforms.
- Kidsoft: a trusted Child Care Management System (CCMS) supporting thousands of centres with CCS, billing, and financial reporting.
- Infocare: New Zealand’s most established ECEC management system, valued for its reliability and local expertise.
- OWNA: Australia’s leading all-in-one childcare management software, combining CCS, billing, enrolments, HR, payroll, rostering, family engagement, documentation, and compliance in one secure platform.
These platforms, alongside Kangarootime Australia, Penelope QIP, and Kindyhub will collaborate to drive innovation, security, and better integration across the sector.
What This Means for Customers
For Juice Technologies customers:
Access to a broader network of technology and expertise, faster feature development, and future-ready integration options, all while maintaining the platforms you know and trust.
For OWNA customers:
Deeper CCS and compliance capabilities, and enhanced local support through collaboration with the experienced Kidsoft and Infocare teams.
The combined group will focus on improving platform integration, unifying support resources, and investing further in customer experience and security.
