OWNA becomes latest platform to become CCS Software Provider

OWNA, the digital childcare management platform that includes educator, parent and director apps, has confirmed that they have received notification from the Federal Department of Education that their application to become an Approved CCS Software Provider has been successful.

 

Their new Approved CCS Software Provider designation will allow them to provide CCS related services to their customer base such as enrollment submission to the Government, subsidy calculation and statement production and distribution, functions that until now have been missing from their offer. 

 

Commenting on the development Kheang Ly Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OWNA said “We are very happy to have received the green light from the Department of Education and thank them for their support on this important step for our organisation and customers.”

 

He went on to note that “We are now able to add a CCS solution to our suite of childcare management which unifies our platform offering and aligns with our goal of creating a system that does everything that centres need to do on a day to day basis.”

 

OWNA, founded in 2016, began life as a customised app provider to early childhood education and care providers who were seeking a branded solution that allowed their logos to be displayed and supported staff with parent communication and compliance related functions.  

 

Since then, the organisations offer has expanded to include feature rich educator and director apps and now will join a list of established providers such as Qikkids, Kidsoft, Xplor, KidsXap and HubWorks! that have been Approved CCS Software Providers since the introduction of the new subsidy regime in July 2018. 

 

The new service will be available to OWNA customers on 17 February 2020.
