Busy Bees Tamworth celebrates Exceeding rating

Children, families, educators and leaders at Busy Bees Tamworth are celebrating the recent assessment and rating outcome which named the service as Exceeding the National Quality Standard (NQS).
The achievement is particularly significant given that when the service was last assessed and rated, in March 2020, each of the seven quality standards were assessed as ‘meeting’, and in the past four years, the service has moved to exceed the NQS in all areas bar one.
In speaking about the result, centre director Jade described it as a testament to the holistic approach of her team, who focus on fostering a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop to their fullest potential.
At the heart of the success, she continued, is a team of passionate educators and staff members who are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for children.
“Their innovative teaching practices, coupled with a deep understanding of each child’s individual needs, have set a benchmark in the region,” she said.
“This recognition validates our efforts and inspires us to continue striving for excellence.”
The service places a strong emphasis on community engagement, understanding that the support and involvement of families and the community are crucial to the holistic development of children. Regular community events and family- inclusive activities foster a sense of belonging and partnership between the centre and the families it caters for.
The Exceeding rating, Jade explained, is not just a recognition of past achievements but a stepping stone to future successes, with the team committed to continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to enhance their programs and create even better outcomes for the children in their care.
