Ingrid Stitt retains ECEC portfolio following Victorian election

Ingrid Stitt will once again hold the position of Victorian Minister for Early Childhood and Pre-Prep following the recent election, which saw Dan Andrews return as Premier.
Ms Stitt will also become Victoria’s Minister for Environment, while continuing her work to deliver the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
Delivering on the election promises of Free Kinder for every child and 50 government-owned childcare centres will be a core commitment of her time as Minister.
Gayle Tierney will continue to hold her portfolio as Minister for Training and Skills and Minister for Higher Education – which will move into the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions – and retain her role as Minister for Agriculture.
Natalie Hutchins will retain the portfolios of Education and Women and continue leading the Department of Education and implementing Victoria’s education agenda.
Katie Hall will be the Parliamentary Secretary for Early Childhood.
