Grants to help fund projects achieving change for victims of abuse and neglect
The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse (the National Centre) has a vision of a community in which children are safe, and victims and survivors of child sexual abuse across the lifespan are supported to heal and recover.
To support this vision, the National Centre is looking to fund a range of short-medium and longer-term projects on the research to drive a quality improvement continuum which aligns with the critical challenges that it believes must be addressed to achieve change.
The National Centre is committed to funding research projects that go “beyond the creation of new knowledge” to include the implementation of practice improvement, capability building and the development of partnerships that can drive change.
Grants are now available to any Australian organisation with the capacity to undertake research, including services, and can be led by researchers or practitioners.
Grants will be awarded on merit, with applications peer-assessed by independent multi-disciplinary peer assessment panels against specific selection criteria. Information on the approach to peer assessment is provided here.
For more information, please read the grants round 2022 instructions for applicants. To apply, complete the application form and submit via email to [email protected]
Applications are being accepted now until 11:59 pm (AEDT) on 16 December 2022.
