Tickets now on sale for 2023 C&K Conference, time to Reflect, Connect and Ignite

Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 C&K Conference, which will be held in Brisbane on Saturday 29 July 2023. The annual event will bring together more than 500 early childhood professionals, policymakers, researchers, and academics for a one-day summit at the Royal International Convention Centre, for a program featuring renowned Australian experts.

 

C&K’s Chief Operating Officer Kim Davis said the conference promised to be “an enriching opportunity for discussion, learning, reflection and connection,” and that the calibre of applications to present had been exceptional. 

 

“We’re looking forward to exploring their research and contemporary practices,” Ms Davis said.

 

Participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations, roundtables and panel discussions on relevant early childhood sector topics including reconciliation, gender identity and diversity, social justice and trauma-informed practice.

 

Exhibitors from a range of early childhood-related businesses and organisations which will provide important networking opportunities, with the conference billed as “a valuable investment in the professional growth of the early childhood education sector and provide insight into future directions and trends”.    

 

Prominent ECEC advocate Catharine Hydon will host the event, with esteemed keynote speakers Dr Julia Baird, Australian author, journalist and academic, and Fay Hadley, Associate Professor of Early Childhood at Macquarie University also attending.

 

“We’re encouraging anyone involved with or interested in early childhood education and care to secure their tickets for the opportunity to learn from inspirational thought-leaders across our sector,” Ms Davis said.

 

“As we look to prepare for the future, it’s time to listen to those who are nurturing and inspiring children and educators to flourish in an ever-changing world.”
