Canberra ECEC educator to star in today’s Play School episode

Adam Duncan, an early childhood educator from Wiradjuri Preschool and Childcare Centre at the University of Canberra will appear on this morning’s episode of Play School as part of a focus on mathematics.
Mr Duncan will do dot painting, exploring patterns and pattern-making. The episode was filmed in July this year, and the children at the service were all involved, doing their own paintings and explaining what was in the dots.
“They sat in on what was a reasonably normal day for us. We do this stuff on a daily basis, anyway,” Mr Duncan explained to local news source The Canberra Times.
A Biripi man from Taree, Mr Duncan, 36, graduated from the University of Canberra in 2011 and always wanted to work in early childhood education and care (ECEC).
Children at Wiradjuri will tune in to the episode, with Mr Duncan saying “we’ll put it on and probably have a movie morning”.
