Oac thanks educators for commitment, resilience and hard work

A new initiative, the Only About Children (Oac) Thank You Program, has been launched by early childhood education and care provider Only About Children to acknowledge and recognise educators and leaders for their efforts during COVID-19 via an internal and external communications strategy.

Using a variety of social media campaigns, thank you videos from children and families, and small gifts for every team within the organisation, the campaign is in recognition of what CEO Anna Learmonth described as the “unwavering” professionalism and passion displayed by Oac team members during the recent times of uncertainty within the sector. 

“Each of our amazing teams have put the wellbeing and care of our children and their families above their own. During this difficult time, our teams have truly risen to the challenge and I have never felt so proud,” she added. 

The new Thank You Program runs until September in each of the more than 80 services across the Oac network, to align with ‘World Educator Day’ and ‘R U OK? Day’ and is supported by a focus on development and wellbeing through a number of team initiatives and activities.
