FDCA announces 2019 engagement program dates and locations
Family Day Care Australia (FDCA) has released the 2019 dates and locations for the National Engagement Program (NEP), following what they describe as “a successful 2018 program.” The 2019 program offering will be an expansion of the program offered to educators and coordinators in 2018, FDCA said.
The NEP is described as an important part of FDCA’s commitment to supporting, promoting and representing the family day care sector, and is “an investment in driving continuous improvement and development for members.”
The NEP is scheduled to visit ten locations across metropolitan and regional Australia in 2019. It will host separate forums in each location that will be dedicated to services and educators. This will “ensure that the content within each forum is tailored to the specific needs of the audience.”
The NEP is offered freely to FDCA members, providing “an opportunity for educators and service staff to receive professional development, network with other family day care professionals, receive important updates from the sector, and engage directly with representatives from FDCA” a representative said.
The FDCA said the 2019 program will include:
- Professional development sessions
- Free networking lunch
- Important sector updates
- Presentations from sector experts
