As part of the Centre Leadership team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You’ll form strong relationships with children, families and communities, and understand the significance of your role in their lives.
In this role, you will:
Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
Goodstart Early Learning Wynnum West – Crawford Road invites a passionate and enthusiastic leader to join our team as Centre Director. Since 1996, our center has been an integral part of the community, nestled in a residential area conveniently close to Wynnum Plaza, the train station, and local schools. Our fully air-conditioned facility boasts a comprehensive layout, featuring two Nursery rooms, two Toddler rooms, two Senior Toddler rooms, a Pre-Kindergarten, and two Kindergarten rooms. Each space is thoughtfully designed to deliver individualised programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, emphasizing sensory and play-based learning experiences. Our commitment to communication shines through our Storypark platform and regular family nights, ensuring tailored programs that celebrate each child's unique journey, cultural background, and strengths. Outside, our expansive play areas stimulate curiosity and environmental awareness, fostering a love for sustainability through hands-on experiences like gardening and exploration. We prioritise nutrition with a seasonal, balanced menu and support younger children with toileting needs. Embracing community connections, we offer enriching activities and daily art and music experiences, empowering children to express their creativity freely. You’ll need:
A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
