Key Responsibilities:
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Complete the end-to-end function of the HR M&A process including conducting due diligence reviews, preparing reports for upcoming settlements, reviewing industrial relations and employment compliance, pre and post-settlement HR onboarding and administrative tasks including contract preparation and data entry in the HRIS.
- People Services: deliver timely accurate support and guidance on incoming employment related matters through the HR inbox and main phone line
- People Systems: support in People System project work, maintain up to date system related self service documentation and assist in the resolution of technical issues
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions within the business on P&C Compliance related topics and People Systems including; employment legislation, relevant industrial award, internal policies and practices, and HRIS self-service system capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes, proactively suggesting enhancements to current HR processes and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Exposure to the Early Childhood sector, or a similar operating environment such as education, disability services or aged care (desirable)
- Studying towards or hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Business/Human Resource Management
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, childcare regulations, and industrial awards
- Experience in producing reports and data analysis
- High-level computer literacy and application of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Prior experience working with a HRIS (SuccessFactors)
