Evolve confirms appointment of new Chief Financial Officer
In an announcement made just prior to the Christmas break Evolve Education have confirmed the appointment of Edmund Mah as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Group.
Mr Mah will replace Chris Sacre who was appointed interim CFO in November 2019 in the wake of the departure of Evolve’s previous CFO Stephen Davies.
Commenting on the development Managing Director Chris Scott said “The Board thanks Chris Sacre for his service as the interim CFO and is pleased that Edmund has come on board as CFO. His extensive experience will be invaluable to us as we work on the improvements required in our New Zealand operations while expanding in Australia.”
Mr Mah joined Evolve from Auckland based cable containment system specialist Mechanical Support Systems Ltd where he was General Manager with full profit and loss responsibility. Mr Mah also spent over 20 years at Singaporean conglomerate Keppel Corporation in a number of senior roles that were largely finance focussed.
Mr Mah holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide. He is a Fellow CPA (Australia) and has also attended the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School.
