Camp Australia Term 4 Big Art Comp winner showcased on Adelaide billboard

For the next two weeks, Camp Australia will showcase Caitlin Bowen’s winning artwork from its Term 4 Big Art Comp on a billboard in Adelaide.
Caitlin, aged 11, will have her incredible artwork brought to life through animation and featured on a billboard at Westfield Marion until Sunday 26 January.
Renowned Art Therapist, Kerry Evitts declared Caitlin the winner, also announcing 30 national runners up, each of whom received a $50 voucher.
In total, over 4,000 children across Australia participated in the Big Art Comp in 2024, working to let their creativity shine.
On learning of her win Caitlin said she couldn’t believe it.
“I had so much fun being able to draw my very own design and I will treasure this experience forever!”
As a judge Ms Evitts was very impressed with the calibre of all the entries into the Big Art Comp in Term 4.
“The Big Art program offers a bridge for children to see the full process of imagination to creation. Art is such an integral part in supporting children’s growth and development, critical thinking and problem solving and it’s so incredible to see a company like Camp Australia embed this into their programs,” she said.
Feedback from families about the Big Art program, Camp Australia CEO Warren Jacobson has said, “has been tremendous, which is why we are passionate about evolving this program each term. We are so proud to provide our children with amazing opportunities and the safe space to be creative with the help of our educators.”
