When it comes to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in early childhood education and care (ECEC) it can be difficult to know where to begin. There are a number of complex concerns to be addressed, and with so many products emerging in this space, it’s hard to know who to trust.

“This year has shown us AI tools aren’t going away,” Katie Dowle, Chief Customer Officer, Storypark said.

“With considered, responsible use, I believe we can empower teaching teams and generate meaningful insights. Right now, it’s a matter of knowing where to start.”

To support services to explore these questions, and to reflect on practice, both now and in the future, Storypark is offering a free webinar – Artificial Intelligence in ECE: Where to begin?which will be tomorrow, Thursday, 21 November, from 10.30am – 11.30am (AEDT).

Storypark believes that every educator should have access to the knowledge, skills and resources to help adopt AI tools, if they choose to. During the webinar attendees will develop their understanding of AI tools and how they can be used responsibly in ECEC.

The webinar will cover:

  • The fundamentals of AI and applications in the early childhood sector
  • What you need to know about privacy and security
  • Responsible AI practices in ECEC
  • Further resources to get started on your AI literacy journey

Storypark’s Chief Customer Officer Katie Dowle, and Head of Pedagogy Sharon Carlson will host the webinar, and be available for any questions about AI.

“Responsible AI practices in early childhood education should be non-negotiable,” Ms Carlson said.

“From there teams can really harness the benefits of AI without diminishing their professional responsibilities and insight or compromising children’s data.”

Certificates of attendance are available to those who attend the full, live webinar.
