Sharyn Williams, G8’s Chief Financial Officer to step down after seven years with the Group
Sharyn Williams, the Chief Financial Officer of G8 Education, has tendered her resignation after seven years working for the ASX listed early childhood education and care provider as she prepares to pursue alternative career opportunities.
Ms Williams joined G8 in February 2017, at a point in time when G8 was transitioning to a new generation of leaders, that included Gary Carroll, Chief Executive Officer, and Jason Ball, General Manager of Operations, both of which have since left the Group.
G8 CEO and Managing Director Pejman Okhovat noted the significant contribution Ms Williams has made.
“Sharyn, as a critical member of the executive team, has made significant contributions to the Group in its progress to become a more mature and sustainable business over the last seven and a half years,” Mr Okhovat said.
“Over this time, Sharyn has led the improvement of G8’s financial discipline, capital and cost frameworks, resulting in a more financially resilient and stronger organisation.”
“The Board and the entire team at G8 would like to sincerely thank Sharyn for her dedication and commitment and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours,” he said.
Ms Williams will remain with G8 into Quarter 1, 2025 to ensure a smooth transition of her key responsibilities.
The process to appoint Ms Williams’ successor is underway.
