Indigo Early Learning Centre named 2024 Champion Early Childhood service
Indigo Early Learning Centre, based at Forresters Beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales, has been named the 2024 Champion Early Childhood Service in the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.
The Awards ceremony was held late last month in Sydney, bringing together the country’s best female-led small business in educational services to be honoured during a glittering red-carpet event.
Touted as the ‘Logies of small business’, the major Awards Night was hosted by Nine News and TODAY show journalist, Jayne Azzopardi, and saw more than 1000 attendees from a variety of sectors and industries converge at The Star.
The only national awards programme of its kind created specifically to spotlight the rising success of female-led small businesses from across Australia – spanning all capital cities as well as rural, regional and suburban towns – the third-annual Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards crowned more than 60 Champions this year.
The category of Educational Services was won by h&h Accredited Training, a family-owned and operated college since 1994, based at Granville in NSW, while in the Children’s Services category mental health service Building Better Brains, in Croydon Victoria was declared 2024 Champion.
The judging criteria spanned various aspects of small business operations including short and long-term growth strategies, profitability, eco-friendliness, innovation, marketing initiatives, customer service quality and charitable and community support – to name but some of the judging criteria.
“Being selected as a Champion of this major event from a national entrant pool of thousands speaks volumes of the tenacity and leadership at each of these female-led small businesses,” Steve Loe, Awards Founder and Managing Director of Precedent Productions, which coordinates the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards said.
“The successes of our 2024 Australian Women’s Small Business Champions are not just personal milestones but also powerful statements of what women can achieve and the excellence that defines Australian small businesswomen today.”
