Finalists for 2024 NT Training Awards announced
The finalists for the 2024 Northern Territory Training Awards have been announced, with Mother Teresa Early Learning Centre named in the Small Business Employer category.
This year’s Awards will see 34 finalists across 12 categories, including 7 individual and 5 business categories from across the Territory including Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Batchelor.
Now in their 69th year, the NT Training Awards celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of the Territory’s most outstanding vocational education and training (VET) students including apprentices and trainees, trainers, training providers and employers.
The 2024 finalist list represents a diverse range of sectors and industries including early childhood education and care, engineering, construction, electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration, health, business, aquaculture, maritime, vet nursing and beauty services.
Currently there are more than 3,770 Territorians undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship and over 40 Registered Training Organisations delivering training.
Territory winners will be announced at the 2024 NT Training Awards Gala on Saturday 31 August, and eligible winners will represent the NT at the Australian Training Awards in Canberra on Friday 6 December 2024.
