Kangarootime Australia to be acquired by Kidsoft owner in strategic deal

Juice Technologies, the owner of well known childcare management system Kidsoft, has confirmed that it has acquired the Australian operations of Kangarootime in a move that will cement their already sizeable presence in the Australian market. 

“We’re excited to welcome Kangarootime Australia into the Juice Technologies family, marking a strategic step that aligns with our vision of advancing the capabilities of the ECEC sector,” Di Girvin, Group CEO of Juice Technologies said. 

“This acquisition, alongside our existing offerings like Kidsoft and Infocare, reinforces our commitment to providing innovative and comprehensive solutions that empower childcare providers across Australia and New Zealand”

The transaction will bring another 400 users into the Juice fold, adding to Kidsoft’s 2,500 and an already substantial user base in New Zealand where the group owns and operates leading provider Infocare. 

The deal will see Kangarootime’s US based owners retain an equity stake in the enlarged group with CEO Scott Wayman retaining a seat on Juice Technologies board.
