Guardian completes purchase of seven centres from Petit ELJ

Guardian Childcare & Education has completed the purchase of seven early learning centres from Brisbane headquartered Petit Early Learning Journey.
“We are delighted to announce that nine fantastic Petit Early Learning Journey centres are now proudly owned by Guardian Childcare & Education and joined our network early last week,” the Group shared via Linked In.
Guardian extended a warm welcome to the onboarding centres saying “we are thrilled to have you on board.”
The addition of the Petit centres takes the overall Guardian network to 150 centres, and sees the provider become the fourth largest long day care provider in Australia, just ahead of Busy Bees Early Learning Australia and behind Affinity Education Group, G8 Education and Goodstart Early Learning, with Goodstart being the largest.
Six of the acquired centres are in Queensland, two in New South Wales and one in the ACT.
Petit ELJ, owned by the real estate arm of investment bank Morgan Stanley, will have a residual portfolio of eight centres located across Queensland (four), northern New South Wales (two) and Victoria (two).
