Kidz Galore City West celebrates Exceeding rating

Perth-based long day care (LDC) service Kidz Galore City West was recently recognised for Exceeding the National Quality Standard (NQS) during a recent assessment and rating visit, achieving Exceeding status in all seven quality areas.
In the post visit report, the Assessment Officer commented that educators had established nurturing and respectful relationships with children and families in a way which was consistent with the service philosophy.
Friendships across age groups were another highlight, as well as the implementation of THRASS literacy practices which have supported children’s learning and development across all ages and which contribute to building and maintaining respectful and reciprocal relationships.
“Children were settled and comfortable in their environment demonstrating their sense of belonging through their interactions with educators and peers,” the officer noted.
“The service is commended for their approach to embedding high quality practice around sustainability and play-based learning. Educators discussed their passion and dedication to their roles and the service. It was evident that they all felt valued and supported, with praise consistently expressed about the leadership team.”
“This was further demonstrated in the highly respectful relationships evident between educators, children and families, and the delivery of consistent planning across all rooms to support children’s learning and development,” the Officer added.
