Excitement builds ahead of ACA Queensland National Conference
With just 35 days to go excitement about the Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland (ACA Qld) 2023 National Conference is building as delegates, exhibitors and presenters prepare to meet on the Gold Coast from 16 – 18 June, at The Star.
This year’s theme – Early Education: It starts with us – will be explored by speakers and presenters including Wendy Lee, Kelly Goodsir, Andrew Griffiths and Dr Justin Coulson throughout keynote sessions, approved provider workshops, a panel discussion and a plenary session.
Approved Providers, Nominated Supervisors and early childhood educators will have many opportunities throughout the weekend to be inspired and motivated by the lineup of contributors, with a variety of topics being covered including:
- Making learning visible
- The role that individual attitudes play in the workplace
- Planning, assessing and evaluating children’s learning
- Respect at work
- Staying sane when the world around seems crazy
Exhibitors including Ben Q, hey dee ho, Kidsoft and Rostaboss will offer delegates the opportunity to get to know their products and services more, with dedicated “trade shopping” windows throughout the conference program to allow plenty of time to get “hands on” and create lasting connections.
Of course, events such as this are not possible without the generous support of sponsors. As well as benefiting from Gold sponsors Guild Insurance and Child Care Super, and Silver sponsors MTA and Xplor, attendees of the 2023 National Conference will be treated to a Garden Party Gala Dinner sponsored by HESTA, Kinder m8 will ensure the coffee is hot for the early morning sessions, and The Front Project is supporting a branded lunch. For a full list of sponsors who are supporting this year’s event please see here.
The reputation of the conference nationally is hard to beat, with only a limited number of tickets remaining. As one previous delegate said “the quality of the keynotes, food, venue, organisation, communication and culture is among the best we have experienced in conferences nationally.”
