Child Care Subsidy rates increase from today
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) rates are adjusted each July based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the previous December. The amount of CCS a family receives depends on their annual income. New family income thresholds are now in play, effective today.
The following rates will take effect the first day of the CCS fortnight, which is 11 July 2022:
Hourly rate cap
The maximum hourly rate subsidised is based on the type of service. New hourly rate caps are now in play and are as follows:
Annual cap
The annual cap for all families who receive CCS has been removed and no longer applies. For more information please see here.
