Six Victorian ECEC services to benefit from nearly $10m in Building Blocks funding
Six Victorian early childhood education and care (ECEC) services will share in nearly $10 million in Building Blocks: Capacity Building funding, which will create more than 300 new funded three-and four-year-old kindergarten places across the state.
Victoria’s Minister for Early Childhood Ingrid Stitt announced yesterday that six centres will share in the funding which will create new kindergarten places across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
New learning centres will be built in Ballarat and Drouin, creating 187 extra funded places for local families – while kindergartens in Boronia, Traralgon, Dingley and Cheltenham will expand their existing centres to create more than 130 new places.
