Balance Early Education celebrates third birthday and reflects on progress
Balance Early Education, in the Bathurst suburb of Windradyne, New South Wales, recently celebrated its third birthday, reflecting on the growth and progress made despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Staff have “persevered through the pandemic, coming dressed to work in an armour of positivity and passion”, according to Centre Manager Molly Gallop, who said she was proud of how the educators and the early learning facility continued to operate during the pandemic to provide balance to working families in the community.
Ms Gallop said that although COVID-19 hasn’t been easy, the staff are determined to continue providing the best service possible, and continue their focus on community outreach, sustainability and finding creative ways to care for those less fortunate in the local community, something the team strives to include the children in.
Owner Darlene Wadham said the entire team has an incredible focus on families and children, “and we are proud of every one of them”.
Balance opened in a new wing of the Westpoint Shopping Centre in January 2019 as part of the Westpoint complex’s multi-million dollar renovation and extension, local news source The Western Advocate shared.
To celebrate the third birthday milestone, Balance gathered quotes from staff, parents and children and displayed them on balloons that were hung all around the rooms as well as enjoying COVID-safe treats.
