Have your say on the Approved Learning Frameworks

A national consortium led by a partnership between Macquarie University, Queensland University of Technology and Edith Cowan University has been engaged by all governments to deliver the 2021 National Quality Framework (NQF) Approved Learning Frameworks (ALFs) Update project.

The Approved Learning Frameworks Update website is now live, with Stage one, of three stages, now open to feedback and review.

Early childhood education and care (ECEC) professionals have been asked to provide their feedback in Stage one through a series of surveys.

In Stage one the consortium is seeking stakeholders’ views on the two nationally Approved Learning Frameworks – Belonging, Being & Becoming: The Early Years Framework for Australia (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care in Australia (MTOP).

Those completing the surveys will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the strengths of the EYLF and MTOP, as well as gaps and suggested areas for improvement.

Three surveys are available, targeting the perspectives of families and communities (in five languages), educators and providers, and other key stakeholders.
