Heritage protected real estate agency to have new life as ECEC facility in Armadale
A heritage protected property, used as a Ray White real estate agency for the past decade, will have a new lease on life after being sold to a developer who plans to use the site as an early childhood education and care (ECEC) facility.
The property is near the South Western and Albany highway intersection, and opposite a Perth Hills Visitor Centre in the suburb of Armadale, and was trading for $865,000, ex-GST.
A 1950s era 275 sqm home, 36 Jull Street is a 2,322 sqm elevated site located next to a bulky goods showroom tenanted to Harvey Norman, Red Dot and Supercheap Auto.
Selling agent Josh Sumner said that the property had attracted a lot of attention from developers, and that a “childcare use” has been approved for the site, with the developer retaining the heritage building along with “most of the trees” – a point of difference compared with other services in the area.
