Affinity recognised for change management efforts in Australian HR Awards

The finalists for several key categories of the Australian HR Awards have been announced, with early childhood education and care (ECEC) provider, Affinity Education Group, being recognised in the Best Change Management category.
The Best Change Management category recognises excellence and innovation in shaping, managing and influencing organisational change, and is judged on consultation, strategy, implementation and results.
Having been announced as a finalist, Affinity will now be asked to provide an online submission that demonstrates how they fulfil the criteria and why they are deserving winners. Submissions must be received by 14 August 2020, ahead of the winners being announced later in the year.
Supported by event partner Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors (ABLA), the Australian HR Awards recognise excellence in human resources and people leadership across Australian organisations.
ABLA’s CEO and Director Nigel Ward said the Awards have special significance in light of the challenges levelled at businesses and individuals as a result of COVID-19.
“It is a critical time to support our HR professionals during one of the toughest years businesses will ever face,” he added, outlining the unique challenges posed to the HR community as a result of the events of 2020.
“For some,” he continued, “the awards will be much needed good news, while for others, acknowledgement of the toughest year of their career. It’s our honour to be leading the acknowledgement for excellence in the field of HR.”
Finalists in the Awards will be announced over the course of this week, in four separate announcements .
