Puss in Boots Morningside put smiles on neighbour faces
The antidote to “panic buying, toilet paper brawls and general confusion” the team of educators at Puss in Boots Morningside Early Childhood Learning Centre believe, is showing care and love at an individual and community level, and being part of an outpouring of generosity and kindness among some Australians, especially toward the elderly and vulnerable.
Children who are still attending the service have been busy creating paintings and drawings to send to neighbours, along with a fridge magnet with a positive message, to bring some light and joy.
Educators have been walking around the local community, delivering envelopes to each house. “Isolation can be lonely, and we hope our gifts will make our neighbours feel thought of, and less alone” the spokesperson said.
