Multimillion dollar ECEC building opens at Eaton Primary School in WA
A new $3 million early childhood building at Eaton Primary School was officially opened yesterday by West Australian Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery, and Collie-Preston MLA Mick Murray.
The space features three modern classrooms, a kitchen and storage facilities, staff room, office spaces, cleaner’s room, student, staff and universal access toilets, and external storerooms. Outside, children and staff have access to a new undercover play space, gardener’s shed, and an additional car park for staff.
Mr Murray said the upgrade was “an outstanding addition to Eaton Primary School” that would support the children attending to “start their formal education on the right foot”.
The new early childhood building is part of a commitment by the WA Government to invest $452.8 million in 2019-20 that will improve infrastructure in Western Australian public schools create local jobs.
