OWNA launches new HR and Payroll platform as it broadens feature set for CCMS users

OWNA, the award winning childcare management software provider, has launched a new human resources, workforce management and payroll platform that is set to once again showcase the Group’s capacity to innovate and iterate in the best interest of its users.
“We are very excited to formally launch our OWNA HR & Payroll feature,” Kheang Ly, OWNA’s Chief Executive Officer said.
“The new system, embedded in OWNA, now provides centres with an end to end workforce management solution accessible through one simple dashboard embedded into an OWNA account.”
“As a Group that prides itself on listening to its customers and innovating accordingly the introduction of this new capability will further set us apart from our peers and cement our position as being the most dynamic all in one software service in the space.”
One platform, multiple use cases – HR & Payroll the latest innovation at OWNA
OWNA HR & Payroll complements the existing OWNA feature set, offering a full suite of tools including recruitment, onboarding, rostering, timesheets, appraisal & reviews, staff communication and payroll to help users efficiently manage workforce needs within the OWNA ecosystem.”
Whilst the HR components help larger providers recruit and onboard at-scale, the payroll platform powered by Employment Hero means you never have to leave your CCMS, providing maximum trust in the critical payroll processes.
“What our early adopter customers like most about this new feature is that it contains all of the important capabilities found in Employment Hero, but it has been customised to have the look and feel of OWNA and that they can access it without having to sign on to a different platform,” Kheang said.
“Our user community is very time poor given the demands of managing their centres so offering a streamlined solution to a core need like HR and payroll is proving popular, and we expect that will continue.”
Compliance and recruitment key standouts in OWNA HR & Payroll
The ability for OWNA rosters to directly integrate with the HR & Payroll system provides a seamless solution for managers to ensure secure transfer of data at the touch of a button whilst also maintaining the information within the OWNA eco system.
When combined with the recruitment smarts embedded in the system as well as important compliance tools such as automatic tracking of key documents like Working With Children Checks and First Aid certifications, business owners and centre directors can be 100 per cent confident of their regulatory status at all times.
“Managing child care centres is not just about efficiency and streamlining, it’s also about being sure that regulatory obligations are being met at all times,” Kheang said.
“We are happy to be playing our part in that area across multiple facets of our OWNA system but to now be able to offer certification monitoring as well is very encouraging and a clear statement that OWNA is more than just a system, it’s a partner too.”
