Latest round of Building Blocks Inclusion Grants announced
The latest round of Building Blocks Inclusion Grants is now open, offering funding for both building modifications and also for specialist equipment for kindergarten programs in Victoria.
“These grants are all about making sure our kinders are safe and welcoming space for all children – so every Victorian child can get the best start in life,” Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn said.
Through the inclusion stream of Building Blocks, kindergartens can apply for grants of up to $200,000 to upgrade kindergarten buildings and playgrounds to make them more inclusive for children of all needs and abilities.
Up to $10,000 is also available for specialist equipment, such as mobility stools or sensory equipment for kindergarten programs.
Since its launch in 2020, Building Blocks has provided over $235 million to plan, build new, and improve early childhood services across the state.
