Belrose Children’s Centre joins Excellent rankings
Belrose Children’s Centre has joined the ranks of services named as ‘Excellent’ by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) in 2024, and has the distinction of being the only early learning service on Sydney’s Northern Beaches that currently carries the Excellent rating.
The Council operated service was noted for its impressive program on anti-bias and social justice, for sharing its knowledge with the broader early childhood education and care (ECEC) community, and for the innovative practices it demonstrates with children.
“Congratulations to all staff in children’s services for your ongoing hard work, dedication and enthusiasm for early childhood education. Your expertise and talents have been rightly recognised by these highly respected ratings,” Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said.
“Belrose Children’s Centre justly deserves this high accolade.”
The Northern Beaches Council offers a range of children’s services in early learning and provides safe, stimulating and interactive learning environments for children. There are nine ECEC centres across the Northern Beaches, caring for over 900 local children aged 0-6 years of age.
