Edge Early Learning continues growth in SA with second centre opening in Angle Vale
Queensland based early childhood education and care (ECEC) provider Edge Early Learning has continued its expansion into the South Australian market, opening a second centre in the growing northern suburb of Angle Vale.
Edge Early Learning Angle Vale – Merlot Road opened recently, joining sister service Edge Early Learning Angle Vale – Saverio Boulevard which opened in February 2022.
The provider plans to open a third service in a newly developed housing project in West Lakes late in 2025, with plans for further expansion in SA in discussion.
Edge Early Learning Angle Vale – Merlot Road has the capacity to educate and care for 119 children, bringing the number of available places for Angle Vale families across the two services up to 239.
With the addition of the new service, the Edge team in Angle Vale has grown to 57, with a total SA staff presence of 532 across the state.
“Edge now provides early learning places to more than 5,600 children, aged 6-weeks to school age, across the state,” Edge CEO Annie Bryce shared, outlining the Edge footprint of 17 centres in SA, with further expansion on the horizon, having entered the market in 2021.
“Our most recent opening in Angle Vale is catering to a growing location; as the community flourishes, so does the need for additional quality options for families, and we have already had a great response from local families wanting to book tours to see the new centre,” she added.
The service has seven age specific spaces for children, who are grouped into nursery, toddler and kindergarten spaces, with outdoor play spaces also provided.
Sharon Floyd will lead the new service as its Director. Learn more about Edge Early Learning here.
