Outside school hours care (OSHC) provider Camp Australia will hold the first of its 2024 Principal Insight Series webinars on 28 May.

Harnessing AI for Educational Excellence: Navigating the Future Together,” is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 May 2024, at 11:30 AM AEST, focusing on the role and impact AI has in educational learning environments.

The one-hour online event will explore the potential for AI to transform teaching and learning, and guests will discuss not only grand visions for a revolution in education but also practical tips for school leaders and teachers to start on their own AI discovery.

The session follows the popular “Surviving to Thriving” Insight Series for parents held earlier in the year, which saw more than 890 participants join to learn how to support guiding their children’s social and emotional health.

“The education landscape is evolving faster than ever, and working with over 500 schools across the nation, we want to support school leaders to stay abreast of, and be well-informed on topics that have an effect on Australian children,” Camp Australia CEO Warren Jacobson said.

“Our Insight Series sessions have been developed to provide schools leaders with information and resources they may otherwise not have access to in our commitment to Guide Children’s Growth.”

The session will be led by CEO of AI in Education, Amanda Bickerstaff, and CEO of The Learning Future, Louka Parry.

“I’m really excited to be joining Camp Australia’s Insight Series to discuss how we harness AI for education, especially from the lens of a school leader. We hope that you join us on Tuesday 28 May to discuss what is now being made possible because of these technologies,” Mr Parry said.

The Principal Insight Series is free to access, and offers the opportunity for school leaders and principals to gain relevant knowledge, network and ask questions about important topics in school education.
