Coastwide Child and Family Services, which operates in the New South Wales regions of the Central Coast, Hunter and Mid North Coast, is expanding, adding two new services which will run in conjunction with its current offerings.
The provider will be the new provider of Chertsey Primary School’s Outside of Hours Care service, educating and caring for 40 children, as well as taking on KindiClub Preschool, an early childhood service with 29 places for children aged two to six years.
At present Coastwide offers supported playgroups and family day care services, and the expansion into outside school hours care (OSHC) and preschool is an evolution in its platform, which has been operating for over 40 years.
“Our Coastwide Family Day Care program has proudly been in operation for 41 years and stands as a testament to our commitment to community service and engagement,” general manager Lisa Heward shared with local media.
“In response to dynamic market shifts and evolving family preferences, we have initiated a strategic endeavor to diversify our business operations. Our decision to explore new business avenues is grounded in our dedication to innovation, growth, and a desire to better serve our families and community.”
Coastwide will host a ‘meet and greet’ for Chertsey Primary School parents on 29 April, with ongoing conversations with families using KindiClub Preschool from 22 April, when the provider officially takes on ownership.
