Amaze Early Education are family owned and operated long day care centres offering early childhood education and care (ECEC) in the Queensland communities of Gaven, Beaudesert, Silkstone and Redbank Plains in Ipswich (and surrounding suburbs) for 14 years.

What is the history of Amaze Education?

Amaze Early Education was established in 2015 by partners Phil and Bruce Mazey, who are father and son.

What is the Amaze vision and approach to learning?

Amaze Early Education aspires to be the best childcare (sic.) provider in Queensland, to be embedded in the community, and to operate for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The broader vision operates under the acronym of R.E.S.P.E.C.T, standing for:

  • Relationships
  • Environment
  • Support
  • Professionalism
  • Education
  • Community
  • Teamwork

When it comes to learning, Amaze believes that children should be able to express themselves through play based learning, using a variety of resources. Educators and teachers promote holistic development of children in terms of self-confidence, independence, organisation of thinking and the ability to work and communicate with others.

What is the Amaze approach to educators’ identity and development?

Educators at Amaze are paid above awards, and receive discounts to national retail outlets, access to an Employee Assistance Program, a staff referral program, discounted ECEC for their own children, supported study opportunities, and access to a relocation allowance.
