KidzFix Foundation make generous contribution to support Country Kids
The KidzFix Foundation recently supported some special guests to attend the Centre for Country Kids run by Royal Far West, delighting country families staying at the Manly based charity with a Storm Trooper, R2D2 and Dora the Explorer.
Each year, the KidzFix Foundation and entrants organise numerous fundraising events and activities across the eastern states which culminates in the annual off-road driving adventure rally.
The entrants taking part in the KidzFix Foundation Rally chose Royal Far West to be one of their beneficiaries this year, with teams travelling from Narooma to Yass via Bright.
One of the most special parts of the rally is that participants are able to see where their money goes, and the impact it makes, handing over a number of the foundation’s appeals on route.
Royal Far West CEO Jacqueline Emery thanked KidzFix for being such great supporters of Royal Far West.
“Thanks to the amazing efforts of the Kidzfix entrants this year, we will be able to reach more children living in rural and remote Australia where families really struggle to access the specialist health and wellbeing support that those of us living in city areas take for granted”.
For KidzFix Managing Director David Ward, being able to support Royal Far West in supporting rural and regional kids is “such a special honour and connection for KidzFix to support as it connects rural and regional kids to the best of medical and educational programs available”.
“This funding will enable more kids and their families to access Royal Far West’s Manly-based Child and Family Services and staff. On top of that being able to visit the beach at Manly, an iconic location for anyone, makes it even more special as some kids have never seen the ocean let alone city life”.
