Kylie Keane wins ACT Children’s Week Award
Forrest Out of School Hours Care (FOOSHC) Educational Leader Kylie Keane was recently awarded an ACT Children’s Week Award for her outstanding contributions to children and young people in the community.
Ms Keane has been with the service for a number of years, and has been the key driver of embedding playwork into FOOSHC’s philosophy and practice. She coaches and mentors fellow practitioners on the floor and has devoted over a decade to building quality relationships in the sector to better support children, their families, and educators in the community.
She is currently the ACT Branch President of Early Childhood Australia where she continues to advocate for the child’s right to play. Her love and passion for playwork has inspired many and she works tirelessly to share her playwork knowledge and wisdom with the wider community locally, nationally, and internationally.
The Sector extends its congratulations to Ms Keane on her success.
