Finalists announced in the Northern Territory Education and Care Awards

Finalists in the Northern Territory Education and Care Awards have been announced, celebrating the outstanding achievements of early childhood and outside school hours educators and services who deliver quality learning opportunities. 

 

The Awards were established by the NT Department of Education and the Key Stakeholder Advisory Group (KSAG) for early childhood and school age education and care in 2013.

 

Innovation and a commitment to excellence are also celebrated in the Awards, which encompass those from both urban and remote NT.

 

The 2022 NT Education and Care Award finalists are:

 

Outstanding Educator

 

 

Outstanding Aboriginal Educator

 

 

Outstanding Early Childhood Teacher

 

  • Arnie Reyes – Haileybury Rendall Preschool
  • Hup Lye – Mother Teresa Early Learning Centre
  • Katie Hannah – Larapinta Preschool

 

Outstanding Leader

 

 

Outstanding Early Childhood Program (theme “communication”)

 

 

All finalists will receive a framed certificate and two free registrations to the 2022 Little People Big Dreams Conference to be held on Saturday 22 October 2022. The winning service or program will also receive a trophy and a $2,000 cash prize to contribute to the professional development of their service staff.

 

Winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on Friday 21 October 2022.
