Affinity acquires eight centres cementing their position as Australia’s third largest ECEC provider
Affinity Education Group (Affinity) has confirmed the recent acquisition of an additional eight early education and care (ECEC) centres across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland between the months of April to June 2022, further strengthening its presence on the east coast.
The acquisitions are located in key growth areas in VIC, NSW, and QLD and have a combined capacity of 734 license places. With the addition of these new centres, Affinity is now the third largest long day care provider in Australia with in excess of 190 centres across its portfolio.
“We’re thrilled to expand our portfolio and offer more children the chance to experience our unique Lifelong Learning approach in their first five years before they start primary school,” Tim Hickey, Affinity Education Group CEO said.
“The locations of the new centres expand Affinity’s footprint to key areas where there is high demand for quality ECEC. We are already working with the teams at the centres to introduce them to our ‘Affinity Way’ which covers safety, education, compliance, recruitment, family support and a dedicated quality improvement program,” he added.
Each centre will enter a rebrand process to transition to one of Affinity’s current brands namely; Papilio Early Learning, Milestones Early Learning, Kids Academy or Aussie Kindies Early Learning.
In addition, the centres will have access to the Group’s proprietary early education methodology, the Lifelong Learning approach, created and led by Affinity’s Education Team and Senior Advisor Pedagogy and Practice, Dr Lesley Jones.
