Attention Victorian services – time is running out to order Kinder Kits: Get in by Thursday

To celebrate the statewide roll-out of funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, the Victorian Government will provide each child starting funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten or Early Start Kinder in 2022 with a Kinder Kit containing fun, play-based and environmentally sustainable learning materials that they can keep for themselves.
Time to order the kits, which will be supplied and delivered free of charge to services in the first two weeks of Term 1 2022, is running out, and orders must be received by this coming Thursday, the 9th of December.
The custom-made, colourful kits were compiled with the support of a panel of leading early childhood and sustainability experts and will highlight to families the value of play-based learning and the importance of a quality kindergarten program that complies with the National Quality Framework, is evidence-based, and is led by a teacher.
The Kits will include easy-to-follow guides and ideas that show how parents and carers can help boost their child’s learning and development through play at home. This guidance will also be available in 52 community languages.
To provide an economic boost to Victorian businesses as they recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kit items and books are from local Australian authors and businesses and have been made in Victoria wherever possible.
Ordering kits is simple. Services need to confirm the number of children enrolled in funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten/Early Start Kindergarten places at the service in 2022, and then click here to place an order by Thursday 9 December.
Services can express interest in obtaining Braille and Auslan translations of selected book titles by emailing [email protected] by Thursday 9 December.
