Goodstart Early Learning wins National Safety Award

Goodstart Early Learning’s response o the challenges presented to early childhood services by the COVID-19 pandemic has been recognised in the Australian Workplace Health and Safety Awards, with the early childhood education and care provider securing a win in the Large Enterprise Health and Safety Excellence Award category.
“Winning this award is something everyone at Goodstart can be proud of. It is a recognition of the extraordinary work every single Goodstarter has done throughout this pandemic to keep children, families and our teams safe,” a spokesperson for the provider said.
Given the limited amount of prior knowledge about the effective management of COVID-19, the team moved quickly to ensure it had the best possible information and resources to combat the dangers posed by the disease, something which was quite different to previous safety challenges faced.
Goodstart’s efforts in response to COVID-19, the spokesperson said “set a standard not only in the Early Learning sector, but for all Australian companies and organisations – and this is because of the painstaking and on-going efforts of every Goodstarter.”
