Think Childcare appoints Tom Herring as new Chief Financial Officer

Think Childcare has confirmed that Tom Herring will be the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Group replacing Jenny Saliba, who has departed the Group after three years in the role. 

Mr Herring has extensive finance and leadership experience having held a range of managerial and CFO roles in a number of different industry sectors. 

More recently Mr Herring was Head of Finance at equipment solutions provider Coates Hire and prior to that spent three years at freight and logistics services company LINX Cargo Care Group guiding financial performance, leading its corporate and commercial development and overseeing its risk, internal controls, treasury and taxation functions as a divisional CFO and then Group CFO.

Mr Herring began his career in Australia as an audit manager at KPMG in Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Southampton University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ACA).

Mr Herring will commence his role effective 15 April 2021.
