The Sector has launched two new online resources, a Jobs Board and a Learning Library, as it seeks to extend its current range of content and services to more comprehensively support professionals of all types working in early childhood education and care in Australia.

The Jobs Board and Learning Library, both of which are currently live and located as categories on the main website, are tailored to address the needs of ECEC professionals through an easily accessible, convenient and centralised hub for all employment and professional learning opportunities available across the sector at any one time.

The Sector Founder and CEO, Jason Roberts said, “We are thrilled to be able to add two more points of value for our readers when they visit our website. We have always been an audience focused organisation that has been prepared to innovate where required to meet evolving needs. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic this has been particularly important and we are proud to be able to continue to support where we can.”

The Jobs Board will initially carry five categories of jobs namely; Senior Leader, Operations, Support Office, Pedagogical Leaders and Other.

Users can filter by category, state and provider to identify the best roles for them and in order to keep interested readers up to date, a new newsletter will be launched focussing only on developments in the ECEC jobs market and also profiling roles available.

The Learning Library has four categories of professional learning namely; Pedagogy, Quality Improvement, Leadership and Other from well known and reputable professional learning providers from across the ECEC sector.

Importantly, both new resources have been configured to support not just The Sector’s audience base but also employers and professional learning producers from across ECEC.

“We know the challenges faced by providers in both the workforce and professional learning arena’s and we hope that by creating our new dedicated pages that they can more easily reach our 75,000 monthly visitors with career and learning opportunities,” Mr Roberts said.
