Think appoints Vocus Communications founder James Spenceley to non executive director role
Think Childcare Group has confirmed the appointment of James Spenceley as a non-Executive Director effective 15 May 2020.
Mr Spenceley will join the Board as the fifth Director of Think Childcare alongside Chair Mark Kerr, CEO and Managing Director Mathew Edwards and fellow non-Executive Directors Evonne Collier and Joe Dicks.
Having founded Vocus Communications in 2007, Mr Spenceley was instrumental in building the business from a market capitalisation of $25 million to in excess of $2 billion by way of acquisition and organic growth.
Mr Spenceley has been recognised by multiple organisations for his contribution to business including having been the EY Entrepreneur of the year twice and being inducted into the Telecommunications Hall of Fame.
He is currently the Chair of Airtasker, and a Board member of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. He was also the first ambassador for the Women on Boards program.
