KindyNow monthly benchmarking report sees occupancy up 2% from Aug to Sept 2019
KindyNow, the online marketing service best known for its early childhood education and care (ECEC) mobile booking app, has released its second issue of its new benchmarking report that focuses on providing insights into occupancy and booking trends from across the sector.
The September report notes that occupancy has risen 2.1 per cent from August to September 2019 as a shorter number of business days, 21 compared to 22, mitigated an overall fall in total bookings.
Total bookings in September for an average centre, deemed to be 90 licence places, fell to 1,492 compared to 1,530 in August.
On a daily basis around 68 permanent bookings were being recorded and 3 casual, a ratio of around 20:1 with casual representing around 5 per cent of total bookings.
