Helensburgh Community Preschool receives STEM education award

Big Fat Smile’s Helensburgh Community Preschool, located in New South Wales, has received a Little Scientist House Award for its commitment to early science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
The Little Scientist organisation is a government-funded professional development program for early childhood educators and teachers that recognises centres across Australia that implement great early STEM education, along with offering support for early educators.
To be eligible, educators must attend Little Scientist workshops, implement a STEM project and show an ongoing commitment to integrating STEM learning into their education program.
