NQF guide updated: ACECQA
The Australian Chidren’s Education and Care Authority (ACECQA) has updated the Guide to the National Quality Framework (NQF).
ACECQA has said that the updates are minor and reflect changes to the National Law and Regulations in Western Australia from 1 October 2018, and provide clarification on some other guidance.
Changes to the guide are tabled on the ACECQA website via a print-friendly interactive PDF. ACECQA has suggested printing this to place within the inside cover of hard copies of the guide (if being used).
ACECQA says that the guide is designed to help education and care providers, educators and authorised officers understand and apply the requirements of the NQF, and provides guidance on matters such as applications and approvals, operational requirements, and the National Quality Standard. The guide should be read in conjunction with the National Law and Regulations, which take precedence over any guidance.
The online guide can be accessed here, and providers can sign up to be notified of guide updates here.
