About the Role
As the Centre Manager you will oversee and manage one of Happy Haven’s various OSHC Centres. This is your opportunity to re-establish a centre and make it your own. You can create an inclusive and engaging environment where children love to spend time and families trust in you to care for their children. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the centre, including managing the educators and developing relationships with the children.
Duties
- Oversee day to day management of the service
- Ensure children experience optimal duty of care, inclusivity, engagement, enjoyment and development
- Foster collaborative, supportive and respectful relationships with school staff and wider school community
- Mentor educators within your team to grow in their capacity to provide a nurturing and enjoyable environment for the children
- Plan exciting activities for the children to undertake whilst at the service

- Christies Beach, Mitcham, Hampstead, Vale Park, Westport, Clapham, Smithfield Plains, Christie Downs, Northfield, Salisbury Park
Skills & Experience
- Previous involvement leading or managing a team
- Experience working in an environment with children
- Previous involvement within an OSHC environment (desired)
- Understanding of My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care in Australia
Mandatory Qualifications & Licences
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Valid or willing to obtain: Working with Children Check
- Valid or willing to obtain: RRHAN-EC (Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care)
- Valid or willing to obtain: First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis training – HTLAID012
